It’s the main event in many boardrooms of many brands. CMO’s and like are asking “Why would be invest in Influencer Marketing when we have done so well from investing in PPC?”

This is an excellent question and one Philip Brown, the team at Onalytica and myself have taken some time to consider and answer. If PPC works so well, then WHY SHOULD anyone bother investing in Influencer Marketing?

Of course there are a number of reasons why influencer marketing is awesome. There are also a number of reasons why PPC is a powerful tool for driving traffic. However, PPC drives precisely what it says on the tin “clicks”, using influencer marketing in tandem with PPC adds the trust and advocacy dimension needed to turn those clicks into sales.
